Problem with RU Language after Unicode Conversion

Hello Team ,

RU users logon into system using Logon Language RU + Cyrillic and enter the Russian words.

During the pre-conversion we have assigned Language RU for such words in SPUM4

After Unicode conversion the users are not able to read the words which are not converted in ECC 6.00 System.

Hi Santosh,

as already discussed via mail, but maybe this is interesting for other customers as well:

If users logon with language EN in an MDMP system and insert Russian data (cyrillic), this is called "fool-the-system" and it is a major violation against the golden rules outlined in SAP note 73606.

In this case, a special setup is needed in SPUM4 / SPUMG for the Unicode conversion.
