BAPI_PO_CREATE1 not processing record after encountering a locked record.

Hi Experts,

I have a situation where the PR s are to be converted to PO through the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 BAPI.

Here, for instance I have two Purchase requisitions to be converted to Purchase Order of which first one is locked by the user.

The BAPI is called in the loop for these two records,each at at a time.

The problem is , since the first record is locked by the user,the BAPI returns error messages but does not process the second record in the next loop pass.

Please suggest how to kill the session of the first BAPI call, so that subsequent PRs are processed sucessfully.

Hi,

Even if the first Call to the bapi returns error, The processing of second call in the loop will not be stopped.

Hi Savi,

have you written BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after the bapi call ?

Commit will release all the database locks.

Let me know if the problem still persists.
