Data mismatch between source and target tables.

Hi experts,

I am developing an inbound interface.

The file that needs to come from the legacy system contains 3 fields ex: A, B and C

The DB table ztab (from SAP side), in which these entries will be copied contains the above 3 fields + 1 CLIENT field.

Now there is a data mismatch as the number of fields between the source and target tables is different.

How can I resolve this issue?

You don't have to populate the CLIENT field. Press F1 on UPDATE / INSERT statements & read the documentation.

Are you getting this error or this is just an your assumption before processing?

MANDT field must get populated automatically

Hi Mohit,

Yes, you need to take off that client (mandt field) from the internal table/ work area.
