Dump message using user-exit EXIT_SAPLAISA_001???

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all fine! I'm writing because I really need your help. Well I have a requirement that has to be with the transaction ABAVN, I'm using the user exit 'EXIT_SAPLAISA_001' in here I'm doing a validation, and depending in the result, I should send a message that displays the explanation and stop the transaction flow. I'm using this type of message in my code: MESSAGE ID 'ZLMXF_001' TYPE 'E' NUMBER 007. After the program executes the message sentence, it sends the dump message and that's what I want to avoid. I hope you guys could help me, I'll really appreciate it. Thanks for your time. Regards, Guillermo

Hi,

the documentation of the exit says:


In the user exit, it is absolutely forbidden to use a statement that leads to an update or removal of database changes. Examples of such statements are:
'Commit Work' , 'Rollback Work' or call of function module 'DB_COMMIT'.

Maybe you should consider another exit in order to raise a message.

Check function group XAIS, XALT, XANL and XBAD.

Maybe EXIT_RAALTD11_001?
