preponing valid to date

Hello all

I need a help regarding an issue.

I have more than 3000 positions which has roles assigned to them.

I want to prepone the valid to dates of role assignments for those positions for ecatt recording.

e.g I want to make the valid to date of a role assignment for a position from 31.12.2010 to 31.07.2010.

Can you please suggest how.

You can create ecatt script using transaction PPME.

Follow the steps as listed below.

1. Go to trxn PPME

2. select standard selection and click on Continue(enter)

3. Enter following details.

Dimension 1

Object Type: S(Position)

Object Id: Position number

Dimension 2

Object Type: AG (Role)

Relationship between Dimensions

Relationship type/relationship: B

Relationship object : 007

4. Click on Execute

5. Go to View and click on "Key On" to ensure that the you can view the role names.(Ignore this step if you can already view the role names)

6. Click on find button and enter the role name you want to delimit --> Click on find

7. You will be displayed the results of your search --> click on the role to be delimited

8. Click on "Delimit Assignment" or presss Shift+F7

9. Click on Delimitation date ~~> Enter the delimitation date~~> Continue

10. Click on Delimit

You can record all these steps in a catt script.
