Cell merging using CL_SALV_TABLE

Hello, I would like to turn off the cell merging in sorted columns when using class CL_SALV_TABLE. Currently there is no method or property that I can find that allows for this. I know there is an option when using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. The option is there for the user if you turn on the ability to change the layout, but shouldn't have to force a user to do it manually. Also, the refresh method of the class automatically turns the cell merging back on.

Does anybody know how to do this using the CL_SALV_TABLE class?

i think this is controle with the layout option , check for the attribute no_group or -group
