is there a authorization for function CSAP_MAT_BOM_OPEN

let's say, i wrote a report to change the structure of a BOM, using function CSAP_MAT_BOM_OPEN to open the bom, followed by function CSAP_BOM_ITEM_MAINTAIN and CSAP_MAT_BOM_CLOSE to change the bom and close the bom.

well, I could use this report while other could not.

When I used others sap account to run function CSAP_MAT_BOM_OPEN in SE37, I was warned I didn't have the authorization to run this function.

so i want to know the authorization to use this function.

After getting the error message above said , please execute transaction SU53. You will get complete info of authorisation needed in a list

You can seek the BASIS help to get teh authorizations.

Also checkout SU53.

Hi,

Just after running that FM and getting that warning message, Go in Transaction SU53 ..

Here you get the list of objects that are not authorized to use use by your user id..

So give this description to your Basis team to get authorization they can give you that autho.

Hi,

After executing the report, open the transaction SU53. It shows you the last failed authorization for a user.
