MM_EKKO Archiving Object

Hi,

Reg: MM_EKKO - Material Management Archiving Object.

I have executed the Write Job it completed successfully. And then I executed Delete Job in 'Test Mode', it also executed successfully and it didn't delete the record from the table which is correct. But when i tried to open the Purchase order from ME23N it shown message in status as ' Purchase Order already archived'. Kindly let me know why this message is produced.

Hi Vimal,

I dont remember exactly, there is one customization, where we can defile the time/period, system will wait till the period is reached to delete the record completely. But mean time the record is marked as archived.

Will definetaly let you know, if can call back the custamization..

Have run write job in test mode?

Thanks for ur reply.

I have executed Write job in Production Mode it created file and there is no issues in the write job. Only thing is i ran my delete job in Test Mode to check whether the execution does correctly. The Delete Job also executed successfully without deleting the record from table. Only concern is even the PO is available in table level, when i opened in ME23N it displays "Purchase Order already archived'.

As I mentioned in previous replay, there will be some time/period gap between archive & actual deletation. it is customization.

try to search it in SPRO.

Hi Vimal,

You need to config in IMG or transaction OMEY for DOCUMENT ARCHIVING. Residence time 1 and 2 should be the period in days after which you want all PO archived and deleted. Eg. 30 days - : all PO after 30 days will be archived and deleted.

Hi Reddy,

All these Customizations already done. I can able to archive the PO's. The thing is when i executed delete job in 'Test Mode' and opened PO in ME23N it displayed with message as "Purchase Order already archived". But i havent archived or deleted from database, just executed in Test Mode.

Vimal,

WRITE job did archive the PO as u run it in production mode. that is what ur getting as a message.

Try to follow a method which can retrive from archive and then desplay PO.

Actually my concern is not that.

Write Job(Production Mode) -- It Created a Archive file with the Purchase Order i specified in the selection parameter. So write Job is fine.

Delete Job(Production Mode) - It deleted the Purchase Order from the database and the archived PO is displayed from ME23N. So this is also fine.

Delete Job(Test Mode) -- It just executed, Purchase Order is not deleted from database. Which is also fine and correct as well. When i displayed the same PO in ME23N, The PO is displayed with message 'Purchase Order is already archived' . But it should not show the message bcoz i didnt archived it. This is wat my concern.

What did your WRITE job in production mode did here???
