Hi friends,

I am trying to edit an ABAP object in workbench. The screen changes from "Display mode" to "Change mode". But all the fields in the object are greyed out.

I have all the required authorizations, still unable to edit.

What could be the reason? Please help.

Regards,

Surjit

It seems modification assistant is open in your system.

In Menu , Edit - Modification operations - switch off assistant. This should allow you to make the changes.

Are you editing an object in SAPs namespace or do you edit an inherited object?

It appears that you may not have the required service activated to perform that action. First, navigate to /N/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and check for the MIG_MC_ODATA_SRV service. If it is not activated, please activate it. That should resolve the issue.
