max number line items problem when posting by BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE

Hi,

In an Interface we have used BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE and BDC to post Invoices. we are sending them to BDC if a document is failed to post through BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE.

my problem is all the documents are going to BDC because in Bapi we are getting the error message saying that Number of items in document is too large.

when i cheked in the system after postings i observed that only few documents are posted through BAPi and those are have less than 150 line items in accounting document.

Rest all are posted through BDC and they have 500 to 800 line items.

Please help me in this regard.

Hi,

My observartion is when i used BAPI , we are getting 6 tax entries on BSET table for each invoice line item.But for MR01 we are getting 6 entries for entire invoice.

ex: if invoice has 10 line items, if we use BAPI we are getting 60 entries for BSET , for MR01 6 entries only for entire invoice.

we find that this is happening due to config in FTXPwhere 6 tax key's are activated.
