Quotation header texts : problem with special characters

Hi experts,

I have a problem with header text editor in transcation VA21,22,23.

When i write a special character in the editor like '&', i have strange tags that appears when i read the text with FM READ_TEXT.

For example, if i write "Tom & Jerry", i will get "Tom <(>&<)> Jerry".

Do you know how to remove with tags ?

Does a note exists ?

Hi dlarriere

it happens because the character & is used for delimit the variable text &mara-matnr&.

so for print the & you must use his character code.

Hi,

It happens when text are not maintained properly. what you can do for time being is , double click on editor, then it will open full window----->Goto( menu) -

>Change Editor.

try maintaining text there and check
