    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All the subtypes are not available for all the employees in any infotype. A subtype can be specific to a particular employee group, company code or a personal area/subarea. Please check with your functional consultant providing the employee number and subtype number of infotype 2013, and he/she should be able to tell you which set employees can have records in IT2013 for the given subtype. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then put a check on the employees for which you are running the BDC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jayesh&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
