Adobe Interactive Forms and Objective Setting and Appraisals

Hi,

Has anyone implemented Objective Setting and Appraisals using Adobe Interactive Forms for a custom view of an Appraisal document and the subsequent printing of it?

We are thinking of going this route and I want to understand the configuration needed to allow Objective Setting and Appraisal to use Adobe Interactive Forms.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mary Ann:

We are using custom ADOBE forms and there is the BADI:

HRHAP00_SMARTFORMS.

In the implementation of this BADI you specify your custom ADOBE Form.

Hi Rachel,

So you are using Adobe for a custom print only of an appraisal document? This would be instead of the delivered Smartforms Templates, right?

We are looking at Adobe for that too, and in addition we are looking at using Adobe Interactive Forms for the presentation of the appraisal document. Are you doing anything like that?

Hi Mary Ann:

Yes we are creating our custom adobe forms for print only ( instead of the standard delived smartforms).

We are not planning on using ADOBE interactive forms for the document itself.

One of the reason being, SAP is planning migarting to the Webdyn pro screens for PM as well. So it would be interesting to see that work. ( The webdyn pro screens and technology enable easier integration with ADOBE forms).

We are using the webdyn pro based interactive adobe forms for all of our PCRs.

Hi Mary

Have you started the project to use Adobe Interactive Form for Objective setting yet? Could you please share your experience?

We are looking forward to use this functionality too. But we have not heard anyone using it yet. There are few questions to investigate before we make the decision. Ex. Will the access functionality defined in the appraisal template apply in the adobe form? Will the value selection show the same in Adobe? How the authorization work? etc.
