Transaction code for Area Menu

Hi All,

I have created a Area Menu(ZTEST_MADAN).

This area menu should be able to access only by few people.

So,When i am trying to assign this Area Menu to The Role it is not allowing as this is not a TCODE.

Is there any way to add the Area menu to a role in order to restrict the users from accessing it.

Add the transactions under the area menu to a role in a folder structure that represents the area menu (some vague memory tells me you may be able to import an area menu to create that structure - can't hurt to give it a go). That way your users can access the folder structure and they are also authorised for the transactions under it.

I can't see why you would want to restrict an area menu as the important thing is access to the underlying transactions.
