Regarding IDOC

Hi,

During a IDoc edition, a new idoc would be created.So the old idoc would be in 69(IDoc edited) status and the new idoc would be in 70 status(Original of an IDoc which was edited).

So my question is how we will find out the new idoc related to edited idoc billing document number for example :-

Example: Look at Record : Invoice nr : 3400000052 finance nr : 3400000052 IDoc nr 363622

In this case it would appear this belnr 3400000052 got created via IDoc 363622, however, this document was created via IDoc 363623 while the status of IDoc 363622 was changed.

Question : Is there any way to catch from the IDoc Tables, the IDoc 363623 and link the BELNR from the IDoc to the Finance document and the Invoice nr ?

In this situation, there would be no entry in NAST for which is okay.

I think you are looking for link between new idoc and old idoc.

New idoc with status 70 does has the old idoc number in EDIDS-STAPA1.

One way is they wud have same EDIDC-SERIAL Number.

can u explain me how can i use SERIAL field ,

i have tested nw both my idoc are having same SERIAL number!

if they have the same serial number then most probably those might be related, by that I mean one is created by editing the other.

Just a hint.
