Is there a system variable that can tell us whether a program was executed in the background?

SY-BATCH

If SY-BATCH = 'X'.

Background mode

IF SY-BATCH = ' '.

Forground mode

Hi Aurang,

Check SY-BATCH.

Also you can check list of program which executed in the background <b>TBTCP</b>.
