Where can I find documentation about function modules and their uses?
Would you have a link for that? My search did not succeed and the results I found are not detailed enough for a beginner.

Most of the FM has detail of documentation and uses u can check inside the document. Go to SE37 give ur FM name and click on Display on the write side u will see Function module Documentation.

There are even external Web pages that collect SAP objects and their documentation, e.g. http://www.se80.co.uk .

Is there any reason you have not closed this question (it's still "unanswered")? I'm really not sure what other replies are expected... This is just as good as it gets IMHO.
