Hello folks.

I need to send messages to several users. Function module work fine, but I need only ONE message per user. Instead, I got as many messages as opened SAP GUI windows (sessions). How can I avoid this issue?

Why dont you use SAP Mail.... This will help you....

My users are working in Bex and the message is intended for them. The message is about loading of data into cubes. I want the user to see this message immediately. SAP mails are showed only when user triggers an action in GUI.

so, you're saying if user A has logged onto SAP and opened up 3 screens - same sesssion, 3 screens and you send a popup using TH_POPUP, that user sees a popup on each screen?

Are you sure that user didn't log in multiple times to the same server?

using FM th_popup, i sent a message to a user who was logged in twice on the same DEV server. He rec'd the popup on both of his sessions. this did not happen when he logged out of one of the sessions.

Try SO_EXPRESS_FLAG_SET function madule passing the user name into rec_tab-RECNAM, the message into text_info and the title into popup_title. You can check or not the INBOX mark to put an ibox direct access icon.

when users login in sap on saplogon , a message populate on screen.
