GuiXT Script Download RFC Error

Hi,

I have created a simple guixt script in transaction variant for a tcode:

my script is simple as:

text F[Description] "abc"

But, it is not working as I am facing following error:

"GuiXT Script Download RFC Error"

"Name or Password is incorrect (Repeat Logon)"

"RFC_error_system_failure"

I am pretty sure that my user name and password is entered correctly. I am stuck, I am not sure where went wrong.

I set my SAP user id(SAP_ALL authorization) with selected option "script download via current client" in the profile.

I created it in client 200.

Can anyone help me on this?

Hi,

First, check on the RFC user's authorization whether the user has the rights to access to read scripts from transaction variant.

Second, if you are on ECC system and your RFC user's password is in lowercase. You will need to put your password begin with " and end with ". e.g: "password".

Or You can encode the password and put it in the guixt.ini file. Start command prompt by switching directory to where guixt.exe resides and then type in the following:

guixt.exe rfcpassword yourpassword

and you then get a new window pop-up showing the encrypted password which is auto copied to the clipboard read to past into the profile
