      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;That's a restriction with SALV. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But I remember reading a blog long time back where the writer has changed something in standard SAP code to amke SALV editable. If you want to use SALV only then you can search SCN for the same. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But do keep in mind that it will not be a recommended solution from SAP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am not sure about the cl_salv_table.But this can be acheived by using CL_ALV_GUI_GRID.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In field catalog put the EDIT field as 'X' and handle the same edited data by using CHECK_CHANGED_DATE and for saving take a funtion code in , handle it in PAI event.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;revert me back if you any question on this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jyo&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
