Are you refering the IDOC type release in WE30 ?

Hi,

For any middleware to generate schema at runtime, idocs types in SAP has to be released. Look at we30 and check whether this idoc has released or not.

Idoc type and segement type should be released in transaction we30 and we31 as EDIT->SET RELEASE

Hi,

When you are creating any IDOC and once everything is ready then we need to release them so that it can be transported and will be tested. . First release segments and then idoc type.

If you want to release a segment you need to go we31 and need to have enter segment name, and then click edit-set release. It will be automatically released.

To release an idoc type, got o we30, give the idoc type name and go to edit-setrelease. Your idoc will be released.

Once IDOC's are released, you can't be modify.
