Hi,

I am trying to post a FBCJ document with BAPI, BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST it is giving message docuemnt posted succesfully but when i checke again in FBCJ the document is still in save condition only it is not posted my actual problem i that i have made a RFC to work with cordys in SAP the RFC is working fine but when i run with cordys it is only saving the FBCJ document it is not posting thats why i am looking for another bapi with which FI FBCJ documnt can be post.

Have you called BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after your BAPI call?

Hi,

I have again checked after adding transaction commit but i am facing the same problem it is giving return message as posted successfully but table is not getting updated and FBCJ documen tis still in save status only no posted.

adding one more point in my above query i want to know about :EXTENSION in this BAPI i have made this as commet in my FM what is use of this extension is this a reson for not posting of document how to use this extension.

It is definitely not because of commenting EXTENSION as far as I know.

Try with BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

Hi Zafar,

As you are saying that you are getting a succes message whcih should be S RW 605 Document posted successfully , plz check the following.

Once you run your program and get the above message (that is after the BAPI is called and may be before the Commit Calll), just go to ST22 and see if you are getting any runtime errors from the ID through whcih you are running the program.

I feel that if you are getting a a dump there in ST22 saying Syntax Error in a particular line, there in lies your problem.

This dump may or may not be in a Z Program, if it is in a Z Program, you will have to resolve it, else if it is in a Standard Program, there is a very high probabilty that this standard program is actually a GENERATED PROGRAM due to some ABAP or Customizing activites. Do let me know for further help.

Hi Zafar,

Since you are saying that you get a success message, that means your document is getting posted but not getting updated.Could you please post your code here. I think you are not calling Transaction commit in the right manner.

Also try posting without the BAPI, I mean directly through FBCJ.

I feel that still you will get that the document is posted, but will find yourself in the same situation.

Confirm ASAP , so that we can take it on step by step frm there

- Call transaction SM13 after calling your BAPI, to check if some update tasks are waiting or running.

- Did you check BAPI BAPI_CASHJOURNALDOC_CREATE ([Note 616804 - FBCJ: BAPI for saving cash journal documents|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/616804])

- For extension in BAPI accounting, check [Note 487722 - Using EXTENSION1 for accounting BAPIs|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/487722]

- For general information on ACC BAPI check [Note 306504 - Collective note: BAPIs for the AC interface|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/306504]

- If data is already in FBCJ, look at FM FCJ_POST_ALL and FCJ_POST.

Hi Raymond,

I have chekced the given bapi FCJ_POST_ALL and FCJ_POST as the FM documentiona is not avaoialble plz give some tips or link to get detial of what data required to pass for this FM i have try by filling some dat but I am getting the RUN time error of MESSAGE_TYPE_X .

I am facing a similar issue, where FBCJ is showing saved but FI doc is generated via BAPI- BAPI_CASHJOURNALDOC_CREATE.
