Problem with Excel Upload .. Open Office

Hello Frnds,

I have to transfer data from excel file to internal table. I am using FM 'TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP'

but my problem is I have Open Office installed on my PC. and wen I use the above FM I get conversion error but when I using Microsoft Office den I am able to transfer data. Hw to transfer data using Open Office. Kindly help

I have also tired the FM ASLM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE but it also not helping.

I am working on SAP-ISU 4.7C

Hello,

i thing so SAP will not support Open Office,

you have to convert the file tab limited text format and upload the file.
