      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A simple string operation will do it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Take the offset you wanted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;eg: DATA: l_string TYPE string.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;l_string = 'This is test'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this = l_string+0(4).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is = l_string+5(2).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Vinod.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
