Saving values from drop down after setting using VRM_SET_VALUES ( In XD01)

Hi,

I am working on Standard customer Create XD01 Screen and i have added a drop down in the screen. Values in the drop down needs to be populated from a look up table so i am using FM VRM_SET_VALUES.

My problem is: When i am running XD01 and selecting a value in the drop down, its not saving. I cannot see the drop down value in XD02/XD03 OR kna1. i checked in debug mode: i am not getting any value in for the new field in KNA1.

I know if we add values at domain level, it works but how to proceed with my scenario?

Any thoughts?

have you mapped it to table field... from where it should fetch the value in XD02/03...
