send mail step - text bold

Dear Experts,

In workflow for send mail step i need texts to be displayed in BOLD and color format is this possible,

In previous question i got that using htmls tags, but i have tried with that it was not worklng, is there any pre-requisite to be done or share some sample html code,

Hi!

Of course it is possible, if you set the email property to HTML (and not plain text).

For some basic HTML lessons check out this link (very good, I always used this site):

I don't think it is possible normally as there is no option to make the text bold or colour it.

hi i tried like <h> test </h> in worklow send mail step but in output i'm getting the same code <h> test </h>,

Hi,

Try Like this :

wa_objtxt =

'<SPAN style="font-family:arial;font-size:10.5pt;color:Black">'.

APPEND wa_objtxt TO it_objtxt.

wa_objtxt = '<B><U>Test Program for Send Mail.</U></B> <BR>'.

APPEND wa_objtxt TO it_objtxt.

wa_objtxt = '<I>This code is formatted using HTML.</I>'.

APPEND wa_objtxt TO it_objtxt.

wa_objtxt = 'Have a nice day.'.

APPEND wa_objtxt TO it_objtxt.



wa_objtxt = '<SPAN>'.

i hope ur using the DOc type as "HTM"... try is out...

If it does not work just change the last line of the code as "</SPAN>".....

Hi,

Suppose you have data: in an internal Table see Before code window.

just insert one more line into that with Line 1 as i have should in After window

you need to insert the HTML tags inside . Suppose as per you requirement is to make Heading in Bold....

insert Bold characters and end the heading with Bold characters See line2.

In last just insert one more line into taht internal table with "<SPAN>".

so it will work like this ::

YOur intenal Table Before::

Line1  : This Data is Heading
Line2 : Contetnt Body
Line3 : Tomorrow is friday Hip hip Hurry
Line4: Keep Smiling

Your internal Table After ::

Line1 : <SPAN style="font-family:arial;font-size:10.5pt;color:Black">
Line2  : <B> This Data is Heading</B>
Line3 : Contetnt Body
Line4 : Tomorrow is friday Hip hip Hurry
Line5: Keep Smiling
Line6: <SPAN>

Please make sure replace <SPAN> with </SPAN> if it is not working....

Lemme know if u r finding difficulty to insert into table or working with your set data...
