Function module for the Transaction code USERS_GEN

Dear ABAPers,

I am workning in SAP SRM Object.

I have got the requirement to assign the User Id to the Purchasing Group.

It can be done using the Transaction code USERS_GEN.

Is there any function module to do the same.

I have a similar requirement in SRM.

Can you please tell me how did you managed to resolve this issue? Is there any standard function module?
