Hi Guhapriyan,

All SAP segments of an IDOC begin with "E1".

A User segment or custom segment will begin either with "Z" or a namespace.

The particular user-exit you are referring to will be trigerred only for custom segments.

I am assuming that you have a custom segment in your IDOC structure. Find out at what position that segment is and populate the CURRENT_TABIX as follows:

CURRENT_TABIX = INDEX - 1.

This will ensure that the USER_SEGMENTS table gets populated atleast once.

Regards,

Urmila

<b>Please award points if answer was useful.</b>

hi,

I have done a user exit in idoc_input_matmas01

for posting the product hierarchy split.

the user exit is not getting triggerred

when i debugged i found that.. the customer function is written inside a loop of an internal table

user_segments which has header line.

when he program triggers this code.. the user_segment is filled only with one record in the header. and since it has record in the header the whole loop is skipped

the user exit itself is not getting called

can anyone guide me how to rectify it..

Thanks and regards

dinesh
