Hard code IP address in a BAPI or IDOC

Hello All,

I have a requirement where in I will be running a BDC to upload employees' In & Out time data in an Infotype.

Currently the Upload is done manually by users, In order to automate the proccess, I wanted to know if it is possible to Hard code the IP Address of a PC into a BAPI or IDOC for data posting?

If yes, then how to we accomplish it.

Hi Ankur,

I hope u mean to hard code for upload of data file in the upload program .

to hardcode it depends how u r picking the file from presentation server. while running the program try finding the the file in selection screen mannualy from the network and then hardcode that value in program or create a varian for that value .

In general if process is automated then file is picked from the application server .
