user exit for va02

GURUS,

I have a requirement as bellow,

goto va02 tcode provide the sales order no and press enter now we will be able to see the items screen.

To find any particular item we choose position icon then one popup is displayed here we will provide the item or material....

fields and press enter then that particular item comes up.

now my requirement is i want to add one more input field in that popup ie wbs element and based on the provided wbs element

i want to get the corresponding item details in the first position.

kindly provide the user exit that i have to implement as i am new to exits.

kindly tell me the detailed steps to achieve this.

Hi,

Please follow the below steps to find Exits for any TCode you need,

Go to se24 -

> "CL_EXITHANDLER" -

> Click on the method "GET_INSTANCE" -

> put break point at "call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface " -

> now go to VA02 transaction. after executing VA02 it will go to debugging mode and stops at "call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface " here you can find "exit_name" in changing parameters click on that and by pressing F8.You will get all the exits for VA02.

Revert back if you need any further clarification.

check user-exit

userexit_check_vbap..

This might help you because this user exit gets triggered each time for line items ie : say if you have 4 line items this user exit gets triggered all the 4 times...

be carefull you need to check for the tranaction code VA02 and implement your code , because the same program SAPMV45A gets trigered for VA01 , VA02 , VA03 and also the user exit...

so implement your code only for VA02 transaction by checking..

I am afraid this will not be possible without changing sap standard code.

Hi Padmaja,

There is no user-exit or BADI for this. Instead of changing the standard code you can use Enhancement Implementation.

Search for implict and Explcit Enhancement in SDN.

You can use below SAP Standard Customer Include, and take access key and write your code.

MV45AFZB for PBO and PAI

MV45AFZZ for updating data into table

add icon in your respective screen,

Hi ,

Kindly understand my problem properly. after selectiong position icon (located at bottom and appears after minus icon).

popup will be displayed and ,in that popup i want to add one more input field wbs element and based on that filed value i want get the corresponding item in the top of items table control.

kindly provide the reasonable answer.

Hi Find out all the user exits related to this tcode.

And keep break points in all the user exits.Then enter the item details in the order screen .Now you can easily get to know which user exit is triggering at that particular time.Please let me know if you need to any detials.
