Hi all,

We are using SAP in Mexico, so the date is a problem because the server is in Germany, so we have 2 dates. our problem is the inspection lot has Garmany date-time but Material document has Mex date-time, is a way to change datum to datlo???.

The inspecion lot is created automatic because material's master data has it in the quality managment area (Inspection for GR from production).

Example,

Tx CO11N.

the people notify 100 pieces, so the inspection lot is created but with germany date and material document with Mex date.

we prefer Mex date in both.

thanks,

Hi,

If I understand your issue correctly then you want to update the inspection lot date with MEXICO date and time, correct.

What is the process that creates the inspection lots? Is there a custom program or some standard transaction? If its standard you'd have to find some BADI to update the date using CONVERT TIMESTAMP when the lot is created.

If its a custom program you just need to update the date and time there.

Regards

Prasenjit

Hi Carlos,

I'm afraid I'll face serious trouble with the mods for answering date/time questions. This is forbidden according to the rules.

ABAP provides a UTC time stamp which is universal. You can convert date and time field to a UTC timestamp according to your local timezone SY-ZONLO or any other given time zone. The same applies for conversion of UTC timestamp to local date and time.

See F1 online help for CONVERT DATE/TIME/TIMESTAMP.

Hope this helps before the thread is locked

Regards,

Clemens
