Warning message not displaying properly.

Hi Experts,

I am facing a wired problem in SAP. In one of the user exits we have raised an error message as

MESSAGE w000(zpcs_msg).

This statements runs successfully in one of the scenarios but some scenarios this doesn't work. That is, the message is not displayed even if the control reaches this statement.

Has anyone faced a similar problem before?

I m not sure but Try to use Message W234(ZPP_MSG) DISPLAY LIKE 'E'.

For testing you can do is after login into sap please use Alt+F12 and go to options tab -->choose dialog box at warning messages and check

I think this only your IF condtion issue

Hi Sandeep,

As said earlier try giving it like this


MESSAGE W001(ZNRD_MSG) DISPLAY LIKE 'W'.

Since you have given this in a user exit which is a part of the dialog transaction you are running, at some instances the messages are suppresed depending in which process you have given it 'PBO' or 'PAI'.

Hope this helps you and correct me if I am wrong.
