IDOC error handling : Mail trigger

Hi experts,

Im using the SMD tool for data transfer (using change pointers and collect idocs).

I would like to trigger an email, to the USER if there are any errors while processing idocs.

However we do not have workflow in place.

can you suggest alternatives ?

pls let me knw hw to go abt the same.

HI,

you can use the CCMS IDoc Monitoring to do that.

- check RZ20, RZ21 für CCMS Monitor configuration.

- check BDMONI, BDMONIC2, BDMONIC3 for CCMS MTE configuration.

inside the CCMS monitor you can set autoreaction-methods (e.g. send Email).
