Hi Gurus,

We upgraded our quality system from 4.6C to ECC6Ehp4 (oraclehpux). This ECC6.0 system was production copy so having a limited access to the users.

To match the user access as per old quality system (4.6C landscape), our basis team, did the export of users and profiles from 4.6C system and imported to newly upgraded ECC6+Ehp4 Unicode system. The transport stuck in between and the log says that RDDIMPDP job is failing because of DDIC is not able to login to 000 clients.

When we checked the DDIC users in 000 client, we found that there is no user exists in 000.

Then we restart the SAP instance and try to login with SAP* using password pass in 000 client. Using SAP* login in 000, we tried to create DDIC user, but unfortunately, there is no profile exist (like sap_all, sap_new etc.)

Any pointers for this.

thanks in advance.

Hi Lata

Are you trying to make a client copy of users etc from a 4.6C to ECC6 system ? It sounds to me as at bit of a dangourous excersice, from at technical point of view. My prefered solution would have been to keeo the users in 4.6 and the change the User Master record afterwards.

Regarding the missing profiles, you can try to regenerate them using the report RSUSR406.

Regards

Morten NIelsen

In addition, to (re-)generate SAP_ALL go to transaction su21 and you'll see a button which does just that.
