User Locked

Hi Experts,

One of the user in the Production system, is getting locked automatically. We reset the password for almost 10+ times a day, not sure of the reason why the user account gets locked automatically. One thing is for sure, the user is not getting locked due to incorrect logons.

I checked the change documents in the Transaction SUIM, it specifies only the User is locked, not the reason why it is locked.

Is there any report or log to find out the reason why the User is getting locked automatically.

Hi Kumar,

Check the Change history of the user.. there might be some programs running which are locking this user...

If in change history it is not showing the reason of locking the user ID then you can check by another way, while checking the change history then you choose one option each time among administrator lock/incorrect log-on lock. Further to that also look for any batch job that might create to lock user.

Activate a dynamic audit log profile in SM19 for the user, and take a look where the logon attempts are coming from and what the reasons for failed calls are.
