Inbound email processing

Hello,

I never did this before but I want to configure an email adres (gmail one) and use the POP to recieve those emails in the SAP system and then process them.

I found some tutorials etc but they all handle with SENDING emails and using SMTP.

Where do I have to configure the POP-email account so I can receive emails in my inbox?

Thomas describes the full process of receiving, automatic processing and even answering the mail.

I'm on my way trying this but currently I have to wait for BASIS people to get ADS configured properly. I don't know if I can persuade them to configure pop3 incoming post box. If you are succesful with it I'd like to know what I have to tell our BASIS people. Thanks ahead!

Hello,

When I make a new user and try to bind the mail host to the user it tells me that the User does not exist.

I tried making a new (virtual) host and making a new user, both do not solve anything.
