variant issue

Our system has been upgraded from 4.6 C to 6.0 version.

We have a custom report. The variants of that report are not working properly in the new system.

For example for variant XYZ there are values in the all mandatory fields of the selction screen in the old system but in the new system all the fields are not populated with that variant.

Please advice.

check this thread

there is always a possibility of losing the variants during upgradation. Check the thread above to transport variants

they might not be migrated properly. save it again.

Is there any standard program or anything by running which i can transport the variants in the new system?

Hello Rakhi,

To attach the variant to a TR you can use the program RSTRANSP.

the variants are saved with the old system values and transported using RSTRANSSP to the QA
