Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL) for ABAP Stack

We are currently running ERP 6.0 (ECC 6.0) for our Integrated ITS server. The ABAP stack is at SP Stack 14 with plans to update to the latest SP Stack by December, 2009.

We have been asked to look into the use of Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL) with the ABAP Stack, in particular, for use with our Integrated ITS functionality. I have read a number of notes, documents and threads in the SDN and it seems this functionality is not available for the ABAP Stack.

Is there any way to use CRLs with the ABAP Stack and if so, has anyone done this / how? Does anyone know if there are any plans to include this functionality by default for the ABAP Stack? If so, when?

Hi,

I think that you already found the right answer : The CRL is not available for the ABA Stack.

Maybe you should send a feature request to SAP. If enough customers ask for it, we may get the feature in a future kernel patch level ?

The only workaround that I can think of would be to use an HTTPS reverse proxy (like Apache) in front of the ABA Pstack and to manage the CRL from Apache...

It seems this feature is not available for the ABAP Stack at this time.
