transaction variant hide tab

hi all,

my requirment is va42 header tab partner tab needs to be hide through transaction variant.

i am following the below steps:

1, shdo t.code and t,code va42 and transaction zva42 and i am entering required information

2,and checking the check partner check box as invisible in the pop screen

3, saving the screen and coming back

4, maintaining the transaction variant name in the se93 t.code.

5 and now checking the new transaction still the partner tab is inivisble in the header data va42.

can you please tell be how to hide the partner tab header data in through transaction varaint.

Hi,

The Transaction Variant has to be assigned to the document type in SPRO.

The path is as follows

SPRO->Sales and Distribution->Sales->Sales Documents->Sales Documents Header->Define Sales Document Types

Here for the document type under Transaction Flow, assign the Transaction Variant.

i followed your customization settings

i am getting the below error

Variant Z_PARTNER has not been defined for transaction VA41

can u please check and reply..

Hi,

You have to create a Transaction Variant for VA41 and assign it. It will work for both VA41 and VA42.
