Problem with text symbol

Hi ,

I have a program in which i have to add some new fields to the existing report.

The program was using some text symbols for it when i tried changing it shows " Inconsistent text exist.Start the clean up program ? ". When i clicked yes it showed me a list of text symbols checked and a button was there to delete those entries.

When i deleted those entries and tried executing the code the values came but the column heading was missing.

I tried debugging the code and found that there is function pool RSAQEXCE that is being used and that was using the text symbol 'GH00'.I tried creating the same text symbol but it is not allowing to create a text symbol with 4 characters in it.

What can be the reason for the text inconsistency ??

Hi Anuj,

Try this.

run transaction SLIN.

and give your program name,

and select some extra check boxes( character strings,

and also include supressed errors)

run the transaction.

now you will be able to see the report.
