ATP Simulation

Dear Experts,

Can any one show me a fn module/ BAPI, which can simulate the ATP.

We have a requirement where in the order gets saved without ATP(for various custom reasons), now we want to Run ATP once the order is saved. To do that, I tried using the bapi_salesorder_change, it worked well, but the problem is, I need to make little tweak in the schedule lines, based on the ATP result, but on using the function module I guess the availability is occupied and if changed again, ATP is giving up new dates and weird results,

So my thought is if we are able to simulate the ATP results ahead of time, I can take the same schedule lines and request the same qty for that specific date and then change the sales order using the BAPI.

Please advice.
