Problem with size category

Hi,

Im uploading some huge amount of data into one standard table, when i checked the size category in the technical settings of that table it is '2' i.e. "Data records expected: 5.600 to 22.000".

But, the amount of data which im uploading is double the size of this. So, i would like to know whether will this make any difference in the table properties or any thing as such.

Since, this is a standard table, i cannot increase the size category..

So, what is the solution for this.

size category 2 takes upto 33,000 records....

0 0 to 2.000

1 2.000 to 8.200

2 8.200 to 33.000

3 33.000 to 130.000

4 130.000 to 530.000

5 530.000 to 1.000.000

6 1.000.000 to 2.100.000

7 2.100.000 to 4.200.000

8 4.200.000 to 8.500.000

I wasn't aggressive, i was just informing him to read it again. I was just trying to put things in a better way.

Having read the original question now - I agree with you. He should have read it properly. Especially as size category varies from system to system!

The only effect that having more than expected can have is on how the database is organised. So it could impact performance.

To be really sure - talk to your dba/basis team. If necessary, you can always repair the standard object.
