regarding BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hi ALL,

When am calling BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE ,am getting an error with message "Posting only possible in periods 2009/10 and 2009/09 in company code "

Even when am passing the dates between 2009/10 and 2009/09 ,am still facing the same problem..

Any solns. to fix the above issue.

Look at transaction MMPV, you are only allowed to post material movement in current and previous MM period per company code.

In goodsmvt_header parametern, check the fields doc_date and pstng_date.

Hi,

its a customising issue.

Today the date is 03.08.2009 so the month has changed and period closing should be done for last month i.e July.

Ask you functional person to do the period closing.

In the parameters post_date and doc_date am passing todays date i.e., 03.08.2009 ,,,,,even then am getting error

Check periods opened with the following transactions

- MM : MMPV (database table MARV)  " <- this one is the suspect cause of the two opened periods
- FI : F-60 (database table T001B) " check accounts related to stocks
- CO : OKP1 (database table KAPS)  " check actual, CO Through-postings from FI

Those transactions or their associated reports ususally run each and every month.

Thanks for the responses..

As per ur suggestions, I have checked MARV table ,,, and YESSSS it is showing 2009/10 and 2009/09 as the periods for the company code ..

Whats the next step????

Someone played you a bad trick....

Try to create movement in september, i fear it is not possible to revert to a previous period

(or ask at forum )

Hoping that you may post documents in the future... (not always allowed)

Else you may wait til september...
