      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its not possible to save the output of the background spool output of the alv to the desktop as no GUI based operations are allowed during background processing.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Background processing can be done and the file output will be written to a folder in the Application Server. Then PI System can be used to establish a connection to pick up the file from the application server and move it to a particular location in PC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Contact your PI/XI system developer for more details&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Janani&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
