Excel file upload.. strange error...

Hi folks,

Iam here with one query which will be a gud mind teaser...any guess or any exact solution is appreciated...

I have one excel file on my desktop and iam going to upload this file to one of my z program so that two text files can be generated by using some mapping logic for the fields....

Problem is when i upload the excel file with the another excel file opened in the desktop then it is throwing error that the excel file is already opened...But the strange thing is that the name of the excel file which is opened on desktop is different with that wat iam uploading...

have anybody of u faced this problem?then pls.suggest...

Hi,

First save your excel file as tab delimited file and then try to execute the program.

this file should be closed on your desktop.

when your uploading the file the file should be closed .so that you wont get any problems .
