Delete Production Transaction and Program?

Is there a way from the development environment to transport a deletion of a transaction and a program that is tied to it? Because when I delete the program in DEV it does not create a transport....that I would think delete the program in prod when its migrated. My main goal is to remove these objects from Production.

Hi,

When you deleted the program it should have prompted for a transport if it was assigned to a transport-relevant package.

As it didn't the package may have been changed in the past (I assume it was transported to production in the first place), or more likely it's already assigned to a transport in your user (check the version history).

If it is assign to a transport already, just release this transport. If not, create the program again (not all the code, just the object) and assign it to a package and transport. Once you've done this, delete the program and release the transport. This will transport the deletion.

It would prompt you a request only when your Program is already released. Now if you try to delete the program then it will ask you for request, assign this to TR and release this push move into PRD.It will delete the object from PRD.

your idea in first hand was quite correct. only problem you have is that you have an active, not freed transport request holding you report.

so if you delete it he wont ask for a transport.

but if you find the transport holding your prorgram, you may just transport it, since the deletion information is in it by now.
