Hi All,

I have an idoc which when passed through a port of file type changes the segment name from E1* to E2*.

When the idoc is passed through another RFC port however the conversion does not take place. There is no conversion rule defined based on the message type. also the message type for both the cases are different.

Could you please tell me what is the difference that when the idoc is passed through file type port it does change the segment name.

The conversion is maintained in the table "EDISDEF".

If this is a configuration issue then please specify the configuration steps

Regards

Bidyut
