Uploading a file to application server!

I am trying to upload a file using ZRBE_MAIN ,the code given in A SAP release note 1001343 .

I am using a duet server but the problem is , it is asking for the application server path when i execute the report.

I gave the application server path as d:\tmp\text.rtf .

firstly , is it the right path and if yes then why is it giving the error that please specify the directory in application server?

Is it because i am using the duet server?

Hi,

The path d:\tmp\text.rtf looks like a windows file path and not an application seveer path. Goto transaction AL11 and verify the path and pass it while executing the report.

Hi,

This path is local drive path, not Application server one. I guess it is insalled on Unix, so path is like /usr/bin/...

Use tcode CG3Z to upload file to given directory. In screen provide the following:

- Source file -> local drive path i.e d:\tmp\text.rtf

- Target file -> for this you can use tcode AL11 to explore directories of Application Server. Copy path name here togeterh with file name i.e

/usr/sap/text.rtf

- choose Upload

It is not Application Server Path. To check Appilcation Server path see T-code AL11.

As i am using the duet server so i am not authorised to go to this t code----AL11.

since i am using the duet server i cannot go to the transaction AL11.
