Hi Experts,

I have created a new z-table in which a field has to have the F4 help of table B's field.

But table B's field's data element has F4 help of an info object.So I am getting the entries from that object.

Please let me know if there are any ways to get it from table B alone.

Hi,

If you want to use the B table's field for F4 help then it will fetch the lsit from the info object also.. You cannot supress it.. But what you can do is create a new domain for your field and attach the value you want in the value table of the domain...

Hi,

In that case I have to change the domain attribute of table B's field.

If I am creating domain in a different name.Values are not getting reflected.

What you can do you please create a search help for that filed and in SE80 for the function group you can provide the

SEARCH HELP name for that.

Hi,

try using Search help.. create a search help for this field from SE11 and attach it to your data element

Thanks for the replies.

I have created a search help in which there is a modify field where the existing data element can be changed and the newly created can be attached.
