Creating an enhancement section within a Web dynpro comp. controller method

We are trying to create an enhancement section within a component controller method of a Web dynpro application. When we add the enhancement section line in the method and save the method it is not allowing us to create the enhancement spot to which the enhancement section is referring. This seems to be different behaviour to adding an enhancement section within a standard report because when we save the standard report we are given a dialog box that allows us to create and save the enhancement spot in which the enhancement section will be stored.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is preventing us from enhancing the method.

hai mich,

u cant add enhancement points fo rstandard code but u can implement the available enhancement points and write ur code

if u want to add enahcnement points then u need access key ,

normally u have implicit points at start and end of program
